I was lucky enough to have a subscription to Sports Illustrated when I was a teenager growing up. I used to read that magazine cover to cover every week. I was thirsty for sports and Sports Illustrated was the quencher. Over the years I remember a number of articles, but I think my favorite was The Curious Case of Sidd Finch on April 1st, 1985. As we celebrate April Fools Day this year and as the baseball and Fantasy Baseball season kicks-off, take a moment and re-read this classic article. Sidd Finch, in my book, is the greatest fantasy baseball player of all time. No one can match those numbers!
